合金裝備MGS4 BOSS Crying Wolf介紹

在影子摩西的冰天雪地中，又一隻雪狼阻擋了Snake的去路，與九年前一樣，這次依然是一個女人...惡劣的能見度，十數名雜兵的干擾，嗅覺和活動都異常靈敏的Boss，這是一場無比嚴酷的戰鬥。

　　最後Snake解脫了第三隻野獸，狼如同九年前那時一樣，再一次帶著女人消失在了阿拉斯加的風雪裡...而Drebin帶來了第三個故事：

　　You don't need me to tell you there's whole nation africa tearing themselves apart in the name of ethnic cleansing.

　　不用我說你也知道，有一個非洲國家以種族淨化的名義把它自己分裂開來。

　　（根據Crying Wolf的年齡和膚色以及MGS4的發生時間來推斷，這應該說的是第一，第二次剛果戰爭，但是在非洲打著種族淨化旗號的衝突實在是數不勝數，因此作者的想法不一定準確。）

　　Well, she was born into that environment.

　　總之，她就出生在那種環境裡。

　　When she was a little girl, her village was attacked by rival armed factions.

　　在她還是個小女孩的時候，她的村子被敵對的武裝派別所攻擊。

　　Her parents and siblings was slaughtered, and she was left a refugee.

　　她的雙親和兄弟姐妹遭到屠殺，而她則成為了難民。

　　She took her last surviving relative, her baby brother, and ran as far as she could away from the war zone.

　　她帶著她唯一的倖存親屬，她年幼的弟弟，竭盡全力的逃離了戰區。

　　One day, they came across an enemy unit, so she took her brother and hid in an abandoned shack.

　　一天，他們遇到了一支敵人的部隊，所以她帶著她弟弟躲進了一個被遺棄的棚屋裡。

　　And then, her brother started to crying...

　　接著，她弟弟開始哭了……

　　She knew that if the soldiers heard the noise, they would find them and kill them both.

　　她知道如果讓士兵們聽到，他們就會找到並且殺死他們。

　　So she wrapped her hand as tight as she could around his mouth.

　　所以她使盡全力的用手裹住了他的嘴。

　　As the foot step gradually went away, she came back to her senses.

　　隨著腳步聲逐漸遠去，她恢復了理智。

　　His brother wasn't crying anymore.

　　她弟弟已經不再哭了。

　　Horrified, she pulled her hand away, covered in sweat and spit.

　　帶著驚恐，她將手移開，那上面已經沾滿了汗水和口水。

　　He wasn't breathing.

　　他沒有呼吸了。

　　They say wolves eat their own pups when they die.

　　人們都說狼會吃掉自己已經死掉的狼崽。

　　She was spotted wandering through the thick of battle carring her dead brother in her arms.

　　她被人發現漫遊在戰火最密集的地方，臂彎裡抱有她死去的弟弟。

　　She had vision, too---a wolf walking alongside her.

　　她還有一種幻覺——一隻狼並排著走在她旁邊。

　　Every night, the wolf would howl and cry, just like her brother did that day.

　　每一夜，狼都會嚎啕大哭，就像她弟弟那天一樣。

　　Eventually, she made it to a government-run refugee camp.

　　終於，她到達了一個政府設立的難民營。

　　But by then, her brother's body had rotted away.

　　但是那時，她弟弟的身體已經腐爛了。

　　The camp was crowded with refugees like herself, and little children like her brother.

　　營地裡充滿了如同她一樣的難民，以及如同她弟弟一樣的幼童。

　　Day and night she was tormented by the cries of babies.

　　日日夜夜的，她都被嬰兒的哭聲所折磨著。

　　The wolf that followed her heard her sorrowful screams and answered.

　　那只跟隨她的狼聽到了她悲哀的叫聲並且作出了回應。

　　He made his way around the camp.

　　它在營地裡來回周轉。

　　And one by one...

　　一個接著一個的……

　　He silenced the children.

　　它讓幼童安靜了下來。

　　She tried to stop it, but she was powerless to stop the wolf.

　　她嘗試去阻止它，但她是那麼的無力。

　　A few days passed,and on the eve of the enemy's raid, there wasn't a child left.

　　幾天後，在敵人突襲的前夕，孩子們已經一個都不剩了。

　　The adults who survived were torn up pretty bad.

　　那些還活著的成年人則被撕成了碎片。

　　Of course, there never was any wolf in that camp.

　　當然，營地裡根本就沒有狼。

　　She was the one who killed those babies.

　　她才是殺死了那些嬰兒的人。

　　But she couldn't bring herself to admit it.

　　但她卻無法讓自己去正視這一點。

　　She couldn't bear the thought of herself going from one baby to the next, hollowing like a wolf, snuffing out their little lives.

　　她無法承受這種想法：一個嬰兒接著一個嬰兒的，如狼一般的嚎嗥著，掐滅他們幼小的生命之火。

　　And she never did, even as Crying Wolf, a lonely beast forever stalking the battlefield.

　　於是她從來也沒承認過，即使是成為了哀嚎雪狼，一隻永遠都在戰場上獵食的寂寞野獸。
